Katherine Zagorianos - Ambassador of the English Language
Katherine "Kathy" has been promoting the English language on the small island of Zakynthos, Greece since 1990. Call her an inspirational language guru, children's book advocate, private lesson co-ordinator or simply Kiria Kaiti, Kathy is the epitome of philology and brings joy and opens doors to the children growing up in Greece.
She was inspired by the impact that one book from her niece had on the learning path of one student to begin populating the library in her office. She would like to scale it as far as the Greek language has spread, one book at a time.

Ioanna Zagorianos - Graphic Artist
Ioanna's "Joanna's" career in art has spanned different styles and technology over the last 18 years. One thing that has remained a constant in this epic journey is the love of Greek culture and the deep reverence it has had on her work.
She is also inspired by the sheer love and dedication of her sister Kathy in Greece and owes her own accomplishments to the passion of the Greeks over the millenniums and the privilege of reading books from afar, in Canada. What better way to give back than by helping collect books for children?
